Zumba
Music-led cardio using dance-inspired movement and repeated combinations. The focus is energy, movement, and enjoying the class—not getting every step perfect.
- Beginner-friendly environment
- Cardio and coordination
- No dance experience required
High-energy cardio, rhythm, and a welcoming room led by Coach Michelle. Every level—and every left foot—is invited.
ATG Fitness offers two music-driven class formats with Coach Michelle: Zumba and POUND. Both are designed to get the whole body moving in a supportive group, but each creates a different experience.
Zumba blends dance-inspired movement with upbeat music. You do not need a dance background or perfect coordination to begin. Follow the instructor, keep moving at a pace you can manage, and let the repeated patterns become more familiar from class to class.
POUND uses lightly weighted drumsticks and rhythmic movement to create a full-body cardio workout. The class combines drumming actions with lower-body and core-focused patterns, giving participants another way to move with music without using a traditional dance format.
Coach Michelle’s approach is welcoming across experience levels. Modifications and pacing matter, and the room is built around participation rather than comparison. If you have been avoiding group fitness because you feel like everyone else already knows the routine, this is a place where you can simply start.
